Our Admissions Process
At Freedom Drug and Alcohol Recovery, our admissions process is designed to provide a seamless and personalized experience for each individual seeking help. Here’s a typical sequence of events:
- Browse our website to explore our Services, Programs, and Facility sections to ensure that Lion Recovery is the best fit for you or your loved one.
- Contact us via phone or email to inquire about availability in our facility and to have us check your insurance coverage for detox treatment. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
- If needed, this is the time to discuss arranging an intervention if your loved one requires therapy but is hesitant to seek help.
- Once everything is confirmed regarding payment and availability, you are welcome to visit our center. For those traveling from afar, we can provide travel suggestions and accommodations.
- On your arrival, your first day will include a comprehensive intake assessment to tailor your detox program specifically to your needs. We will then begin developing a long-term treatment plan to support your recovery journey.
What Should You Bring to Our Detox Facility?
To ensure your stay with us is comfortable, we’ve prepared a simple checklist of personal items you may want to bring:
- Clothing for 7-10 days
- 1 hoodie or coat
- 1 nice outfit for church (if desired)
- 1 pair of tennis shoes for hiking
- 1 set of activewear
- 1 pair of old shoes for Equine Therapy
- 1 pair of appropriate sleepwear
- Prescribed medications (if applicable) *Please avoid wearing clothes with profanity, drug or alcohol logos, gang signs, or revealing attire.
For toiletries, we provide basic items and towels. However, you are welcome to bring your own unused toiletries if you prefer.
Regarding tobacco usage, it is allowed at our facility, but we do not supply it. Please bring your own tobacco products, and you can also purchase additional items by adding credits to your account for store orders.
